Raw hair is unaltered,& unprocessed. Raw hair curl/wave pattern are not uniform and can vary from light brown to dark brown colors. More coarse in texture than virgin hair. Virgin hair is steam processed to achieve different curl/wave patterns. Though some companies use chemicals to alter the shine and color, The Hare Life Official ONLY uses steam. Our Virgin hair will come in it’s natural color.

Frontals are typically 13x4 -13x6. Frontals provide a larger space for diversity since they reach “ear to ear”. Frontals are more high maintenance than closures. Maintenance including professional styling,cleaning and possibly replacement due to normal shedding overtime Closures are typically 4x4 -6x6. They provide less styling options than frontals but are also less maintenance. Closure units are often ready to wear without needing professional styling

We suggest purchasing styrofoam mannequin heads from your local beauty supply store. Your wigs can be placed on the heads to preserve styles. Satin Bags included in every purchase are great for storage for your bundle and wigs.

 I highly suggest closure units for 1st time wig wearers. Manageability is easier and requires less than a frontal.

Our virgin & raw extension can last 2 years + with proper care. Such as washing, conditioning,styling etc. All hair textures should be handled with care. Carefully detangling if needed, hair should be detangled with a wide tooth comb or brush to avoid unnecessary snags that can cause shedding. The same for units. Closures and Frontals require maintenance due to normal shedding overtime. They can be replaced.

For best results a FLAT braided foundation. The smaller the braided the better. Straight back braids are recommended for closure and frontal application.
